New Gw - New Begining

Here we are in Turkyilmaz, the latest 'fantasy' GW, founded by former members of Game worlds Hoddle, Jackett, Pearce, Muhren, Callaghan, Whiteside and Altobelli. Coming from muhren (Imo the best GW) the numbers of people in Turkyilmaz seems promising. I signed on at around 11:45PM and there was 180 people online, numbers i haven't seen since the beginning of Muhren. The chat was buzzing, it was hard to keep up with those who were talking, and trying to spot friends for Muhren. Five minutes in and all ready i am starting to enjoy the community of this GW, even help there is 5-6 people helping each other out, and in my experience this a rarity.

Having all ready experienced a reset if Coppell GW, i was excited to see what i had in terms of players in my pool. Upon looking at it i was slightly disappointed, in coppell i had been given a 70k AF DC, in this pool i had a couple of 40K players, 2 of which were asking for 8k wages something i wasn't going to do unless they were exceptional - but they wernt! Below is what team i finally decided on, trying to hand pick players based on position and what tactics i would use.

Here is the pick of the bunch:
Jeremy Leroy (striker)

Femi Babangida (AML/FC)

Cesar (AMRLC)

Ruben Del Valle (GK)

With three of my players being decent attacking options i decided on using the tactic i currently use on Coppell - the 4-5-1 (see Below).

This formation makes use of both 'wingers' and plays them in the inside forward role, effectively making it a 4-3-3 on attack and a 4-5-1 when defending. This allows great flexibility when it comes to mounting an attack and can either attack down the flanks or though the middle if playing a narrower formation or on a narrower pitch. The only problem with my formation at the moment is lack of any real talent in my centre of midfield where the passing and creativity seem to be lacking somewhat and can led to teams overwhelming us in the middle of the park and counter attacking us when we are pushed forward.

Skills wise i opted for coaching and scouting, as i mainly want to concentrate on bring youth players through the ranks. Coaching is a must for me as it bring the players up to potential ability (PA) quicker which can either boost my team, or make a decent profit on youths that don't make it to my first team. For my second skill it was a toss up between scouting and Finance, in the end i decided JP 5 was the best option for me as the boost rating of JP 5 over 4 was 50% a huge gap. JP will also help me to offload those youths that have poor PA's and to keep the better PA players to make into superstars!
